Dr Rowan Kapoor - Chiropractor

Dr Rowan Kapoor - ChiropractorWe are excited to introduce Dr Rowan into the practice. Rowan brings to the clinic a wealth of knowledge and experience treating sporting injuries and has a special clinical interest in headache, posture, sciatica, lower back disc problems and spinal sports care. As well as completing the 5 years Chiropractic degree, Rowan has completed a Bachelor in Human Movement. He has also completed an internship in Sports Science at the Victorian Institute of Sport and has worked with many high profile sporting groups and clubs.

Rohan has spent most of his life growing up and working in Victoria, where he completed his VCE studies and went on to initially study Human Movement.

After completing a Bachelor in Human Movement and with an active sporting and work life, Chiropractor Rohan found the stress and strain on his body was causing a great degree of lower back pain.  It was particularly noticeable at footy training one day where he suffered a bulged disc.  This lower back pain and injury led him to visit various health practitioners which sparked an interest in Chiropractic care.  From here, Rohan found the benefits of Chiropractic to be far greater than pain relief. He could sleep better, had more energy and felt less stress all whilst being able to compete in his sporting life with minimal aches and pain.

It was this experience that led Rohan to complete a five-year degree in Chiropractic at Murdoch University in Western Australia (where he was playing footy at the time).

Rohan worked in private practice at Subiaco Chiropractic and then moved back to Victoria to be closer to family and friends. He started work at Balwyn Health Care and founded PerformanceOne in Kyneton.

Dr Rowan is excited to join the team in Caloundra and has a keen interest in passing on his Chiropractic knowledge to all patients, to make a difference in the health and well-being of the community.
